Credits, Incentives and Fees
- Annual Hosting & Support Plans
Effective 12/01/05 all clients paying for hosting & support annually will receive an increased discount of 10% off rather than the previous 12th
month free.
- Web Site & Server Support
All hosting and support fee differ from client to client and is dependant on the anticipated server resource
usage, degree of support anticipated and the client's particular package. All clients have hosting & support packages which include support, not maintenance,
of products built by Christiansen Consultants during normal business hours. Costs for support of third party applications, or maintenance,
will be charged at the regular development rate unless other wise stated in the client's proposal.
- Bandwidth & Disk Space
Christiansen Consultants does not maintain allotted amounts for bandwidth usage or disk space, but instead maintains a purpose for use
policy for the use of clients' web sites. Meaning, all web site content must be for the purpose of the site. No pornographic material will be allowed,
no print quality photos will be allowed. Additionally, at Christiansen Consultants own discretion, clients may be asked to upgrade their
accounts if their current account activity is insufficient for their needs.
- Client Development and Maintenance Fees
Hourly charges for development or maintenance are the same for all clients.
- $40 per hour during regular business hours
- $70 plus applicable hourly rate when required 6:00 AM - 8:00 AM OR 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
- $100 plus applicable hourly rate when required 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM
(Christiansen Consultants may elect to perform work for clients during non-regular business hours at the regular hourly
rate)
- Sat-Sun Weekend Hours
- 9 AM – 5 PM $70/hr.
- 5 PM – 9 AM $100
- Non-Hosted Client Development and Maintenance Fees
Non-Hosted clients may be required to prepay estimates or pay a deposit. Any over payment for work completed will be refunded to the Non-Hosted client.
- $75 per hour during regular business hours
- Over 5 hours: discount of $5 per hour ($70/hr.)
- Over 10 hours: discount of $10 per hour ($65/hr.)
- Over 15 hours: discount of $15 per hour ($60/hr.)
- $100 plus applicable hourly rate when required 6:00 AM - 8:00 AM OR 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
- $125 plus applicable hourly rate when required 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM or weekends
(Christiansen Consultants may elect to perform work for clients during non-regular business hours at the regular hourly
rate)
- Weekdays begin 6 AM on Monday morning and end at 6 PM on Friday Evening.
Holidays are as weekends
- Emergency Development (per above) + $75 per incident when not covered by support plan.
- Secure Socket Layer Certificates (SSL)
Charges for basic SSL certificate with installation are $150 per year, $20 additional for the second year.
- Definitions: Maintenance vs. Support
- Support: Is the work needed to to ensure that the applications and services are working as needed, that they're functioning as required in regards to the server, the database and the website applications.
Not all hosting plans include an expressed application support plan. Refer to your written proposal to see if your plan includes support.
For clients with support plans, the support is generally unlimited, unless otherwise stated. Again, support does not include maintenance.
- Maintenance: Individual, periodic or continuous
work with the intent of changing web site content. Examples included, but
are not limited to new development, new database applications, changing pricing, text changes, editing images, etc.
- Web Site backup Copies
Hosted Client Web site backup copies, mailed on CD, are priced on a per hour basis.
Payment for producing, handling and shipping the backup copy may be required in advance.
- Late Fees
Late Fees for invoices not paid for on a timely basis are greater of $40 or 10% of the balance due the may be applied at any time according to the following:
- Payment for hosting and support services not received by the first day of an unpaid period
- Payment for development and/or maintenance not received within 15 days of issuance
- Domain name registrations where payment is not received within 10 days of registration
Late Fees not received within 15 days will be considered due for suspension. Suspended sites will need to be brought current,
including the late fee and the reinstatement fee paid.
Christiansen Consultants reserves the right to refrain from supplemental maintenance work for delinquent accounts.
- Suspended Site Re-Instatement
Sites with unpaid
invoices are subject to suspension and/or deletion. Suspended sites will be charged for storage an amount equal to their regular
hosting and support. Reinstatement fees for suspended sites are $35. Sites having been suspended must be current with all invoices due plus the reinstatement fee
paid for suspended sites to be made active.
